Front Garden Flea Market
Summer is over and the weather is getting colder. This morning, my dad and I opened the winter wardrobe and we saw that we have far too many clothes. Even the cat has his own cardigan!
That’s why we want to host a flea market for our neighbours. We’re going to set up a table in the front garden and sell our old winter clothes. We’re also going to offer free hot chocolate and biscuits.
I want to sell some mittens and a belt. My dad has bobble hats and matching scarves in every colour.
I also have a pair of trousers that I want to sell. They are very nice, but I am too tall for them now.
Emily, my dad’s friend from the tennis club, wants to buy his grey coat with the hood to wear when she goes fishing.
Tom, our next-door neighbour, wants to buy the Christmas jumpers that my grandma makes every year.
But I’d like to keep the purple jumper. Oh! And my yellow earmuffs. They’re very warm!
