## Cardinal Numbers

We use cardianl numbers to say how much of something is available.

- Example:
- 1 – one
- 2 – two
- 3 – three

## Ordinal Numbers

Ordinal numbers are useful if you want to put things in order.

- Example:
- the first child
- the second floor
- the third attempt

## Fractions and Decimals

We use fractions and decimals to express numers that are not whole.

- Example:
- ½ litre milk
- ¾ cup flour

## Time

There are a few different ways to say the time in English.

- Example:
- 7:15 → seven fifteen/quarter past seven

## Dates
