At the Hotel
Mr and Mrs Maloney are on holiday in a hotel. At reception they are greeted by a friendly receptionist.
Receptionist: Good morning. Welcome to The Big Sleep Inn.
Mr Maloney: Hello. We’d like to check in, we made a reservation last week.
Receptionist: Sure, under what name?
Mr Maloney: Maloney, Marvin Maloney.
Receptionist: Just a moment please. Ah Mr Maloney, you’ve reserved a single room for two nights.
Mr Maloney: No, that can’t be right. I reserved a double room.
Receptionist: Ah, let me just see. Oh, you're right, a double room. Could you please fill out this registration form?
Mr Maloney: Sure, no problem.
Receptionist: Okay, here’s your key, you’re in room number 412. It’s on the fourth floor and the lifts are just on the right, next to reception. I’m afraid the hotel maid is still cleaning. It’ll take about 20 minutes. But if you like, you can leave your suitcases here and have a coffee in the hotel bar, it’s on the house.
Mr Maloney: Thank you, that would be great.
Receptions: No problem. See you later.
